@ericalzablon: TPS and IAC: throttle position sensor / throttle position sensor: informs the ECU of the butterfly opening angle. If the signal shows jumps, dead zones, voltage out of range or poor calibration, the ECU misinterprets the throttle demand. This can cause jerks, cuts when accelerating, late response, power and RPM fluctuations. If the reading is displaced from the actual position, it can also alter the fuel strategy and contribute to rich and strong gasoline mixture. IAC – Idle Air Control / Idle Air Control Valve: regulates the bypass air when the butterfly is closed or almost closed to keep the minimum speed stable. If it is dirty, clogged, out of adjustment or responds slowly, RPMs may appear to rise and fall, too high or too low acceleration, turning off when releasing the accelerator and RPM drop when activating loads such as air conditioning.
