my Japanese roommate got mad when I bought all the cleaning supplies and told her we will take turns to clean the bathroom and that 1st was my turn and I wouldn't touch it again until she cleaned once.... wow was she pissed! then she got upset when I told her you are not supposed to leave shit on the toilet scrubber, like actually caked on. sorry girl just because im a Mexican does not mean I will clean for you!

My roommate freshman year was from Africa and was studying to become a nurse. Her family was super strict and actually called the police on me for “making their daughter do drugs and partying” when I had literally never been to a party, had never done drugs, and was basically just sleeping 😂 She had told her family she had a big exam, so she needed to stay in her dorm, but they thought she was lying. 😭 I felt so bad for her until one day she walked in on me and my boyfriend (now husband) watching TV while I was baking muffins. Later, she pulled me aside and asked if I had ever had sex with my boyfriend of seven years. I was like, “Well… yeah?” And she SHUNNED me. 💀 She told me it was GROSS and that she couldn’t stand having me as a roommate because the mere thought of me having sex in general was “disgusting, depraved, and horrible.” Like girl… 😭 I’m sorry my existence offended you that deeply.

My Japanese roommate didn’t clean the house for a week. When I came back from my weeklong trip, there was trash everywhere and we had suddenly developed cockroaches in our house. Mind we never had this problem before.
