It is coming back to bite this government and those before in the ass. They have been constantly warned about reducing fire cover. It doesn't matter if there are less house fires in some areas, it is the greater resilience that is required when we are confronted with numerous major incidents. The Fire Chiefs need to stop sucking up and support their own. The first things that need to go are fire authorities. inexperienced wannabe politicians without a clue.
