Funny thing is about that, CPS has been called on my parents several times, and each time the police were involved FAILED because they in their words "didn't have enough evidence to work with" despite showing them evidence of bruises, cuts, scars, etc. So no, cops as a whole aren't stupid, but some are flat out dumbasses that fail at their job

its honestly never that easy nd also i dont think yk what this system is like so being in cps or dcf js get put in a even worse family who are literally only taking you for the benifits nd also being poor ppl dont gaf abt poor ppl they will throw them to the side bc in this world if you have no money you amount to nothing and there are also crooked cops that will honestly deny anything you state happens to you or sometime you are so traumatized and manipulated that calling the cops isnt even a thought

this is so sick. my parents was abusive to eachother and me and I actually did call the cops. but it became worse I was way more abuse than before. I was sa and stuff .I said to them before "i will call the cops" they would say "you would never see ur parents again if you call the cops" and it was true but after I moved back and my parents are sober now but I still have trama (sorry if my English is not good)

Oh man even worse. "Just call the cops" Do you Know how the police work? You need evidence which many teenagers don't have. You need to prove something you literally can't. You're a teenager and in most cases Teens aren't taken seriously.
