@eemmewilliams: Although black rhinos are smaller than white rhinos they are more aggressive. This means after an anaesthetic climbing a tree can be an option! 🦏 This gorgeous rhino was under an anaesthetic for a dehorning procedure to reduce the risk of poaching. A rhino with a small horn can be less "financially attractive" to a poacher. Unfortunately poaching is a very common criminal act in South Africa and there are incredible people fighting back every day. ❤️‍🩹 #wildlifevet #veterinaria #conservation #rhino #cowboy
