wrong, it is 5 years after you have received residency visa, not just living in NZ for 5 years. you still need to proof your relationship with your partner to qualify fir residency visa. check your facts before posting incorrect information. most people who received citizenship, spend at least 10 years in NZ. also, you must live together for at least a year, no matter if you married or not, before you can apply for partnership visa.
