@ladylifemarvelofficial: Morning arrived over Supernova Academy, but Aurora had barely moved. She remained on the bridge, staring toward the horizon. The rain had stopped, leaving the stone beneath her glistening beneath the first light of Astridara’s sunrise. Footsteps approached behind her. Aurora didn’t turn. She already knew who it was. Larentia. Her twin sister stopped several feet away. “Aurora.” Aurora closed her eyes. “Carol told you.” Larentia nodded. For a moment, neither sister spoke. Then Larentia approached and sat beside her. Aurora looked exhausted. “I promised her I’d come back.” “I know.” “But I didn’t.” Larentia lowered her gaze. “Neither did I.” Aurora finally looked at her. Larentia’s eyes were filled with the same grief. “We kept thinking there would be more time,” Larentia whispered. Aurora looked toward the sunrise. “We always think that.” For beings who had watched civilizations rise and fall, months could feel insignificant. But Seraphina had never possessed eternity. And while her children were protecting worlds, judging realities, and pursuing lives of their own, their mother’s time had continued moving without them. Aurora reached for Larentia’s hand. “I don’t want to do this anymore.” Larentia frowned. “Do what?” “Keep pretending we’re supposed to be everywhere except where we actually belong.” Larentia understood immediately. Their lives on Astridara had become comfortable. Too comfortable. They had built friendships, families, responsibilities and entire identities here. But long before Supernova Academy existed, Aurora and her siblings had belonged somewhere else. The cosmic hierarchy. Aurora looked toward the heavens. “We abandoned our duties, Larentia.” Larentia remained silent. “And Father knows it.” The mention of The One Above All changed the air between them. Returning home meant facing him. It meant answering for everything they had neglected. Larentia sighed. “He’s going to be furious.” Despite everything, Aurora gave a faint laugh. “That’s putting it mildly.” The sisters looked at each other. For the first time since receiving Carol’s call, Aurora almost smiled. Then she looked back at Supernova Academy. “But I can’t leave yet.” “Why?” Aurora watched students beginning to cross the courtyard below. “Because this place still depends on me.” Larentia followed her gaze. Aurora’s expression softened. “And before we go home… I need to make sure it doesn’t.” For the first time, Aurora wasn’t thinking about how to save Supernova Academy. She was thinking about who would protect it when she was gone. #marvel #marvelstudios #doctorstrangeinthemultiverseofmadness #scarletwitch #xmen97 @Marvel Studios @Hinako Shimizu @Avengers Doomsday @Avengers Secret Wars @Time Variance Authority
