I'm a pastor's Child, and honestly I agree with you. I even deconstructed a little. my parents strongly preach "knowing God for yourself"... And most important for me to add, Christianity in Nigeria is influenced by moral values and culture and aggression. And honestly, I really wish more Christians could seek God for themselves more and really walk with him by themselves.
