It was just a matter of directing her to the right time and place for asking the questions, which I think the Reverend did, not to another Church. Every Church should expect questions. Even Jesus was asked questions and his answers are the Gospels that we read today.

Any good reverend wants you to ask questions. The only mistake Lynette made was asking in the middle of the service, usually you wait until after and there’s time for everyone to chat with coffee and refreshments and that’s when you can track down the reverend and discuss anything you have questions about. I grew up going to church and that’s always how it worked

Here in Brazil, it’s not common for people to raise their hands and ask questions during a sermon. However, if someone did, it would be very well received, both by the pastor and by the people around them. Here, questions and doubts are listened to and answered with love because, to us, being curious about God’s Word shows genuine interest. By behaving that way, Bree may have ended up closing a door to Lynette’s relationship with God.

sometimes in church I want to be like Lynette, ask questions immediately after the preaching, especially when teaching about women being submissive and respecting their husbands, the bible doesn't teacher about aman as a husband but it's always on, women, mother's and wives..., why????????
