These comments are not lining up with the video. They went there to get the dog after an attack occurred. The owner(s) couldn’t even recall the dog. The owners are at fault. That poor animal was chased and scared bc he could not control it.

Not saying the people are in the right, but I seriously don’t like this cop that is on a power trip over a dog. Even the words he chooses are feeding his own ego. “I’m giving you a command”. Treating other humans like dogs. When taking a pet to be put down warrants some empathy. Especially if the dog bit a mailman. Dogs cannot distinguish the jobs of humans. To him he was a stranger on his property. And my guess, these people had no idea the incident happened.

so if the dog is a service dog and they need to go check on that and they found out the mailman antagonize the dog and people are antagonizing this dog when it's out on its lawn and people walk on the lawn no one is a dog there then yeah that dog has a right to protect its property

Owners are irresponsible, they are escalating the dog. The yelling and screaming makes the dog hyper alert. Ignorant owners.
