I don’t agree with her. My late father did exactly what she’s saying but we can’t continue his business because of Lack of Trust. I believe that Structure is very Key but you see most families don’t trust each other’s competence.

Poverty and hardship drive the hunger for success but so does the fear and mentality around sustaining wealth. What I want to say is depending on how you raise the kids, they will either be success-driven or not. Not necessarily “depriving” the kids.
