this is the same argument as carrying a gun. Just because some people can't control their actions, we take away all guns from everyone. no, we need to TEACH the kids how to use their time wisely, while still having access to their phone.

Parents can call the school or the school can call the parents that’s how that will work. I think it’s a good deal they take the phone away because the kids are always on the phones.

no I would not allow that that is tantamount to theft I would not allow someone to take my phone and even though my kids are grown I would never have allowed them to take my kids or my grandkids phone if they don't like it they can limp it there are alternatives

No because from start to end it's unreasonable. I agree they shouldn't be used in class. But students should be allowed to have it on them. And they should be allowed to use it during breaks. And the main reason is to get kids to focus in class. So it makes sense to only restrict it in class and of course teachers can take it

She can call the school leave a message and it will get to the child. People live without phones for many of many of years. People say they’re a necessity and they kind of are, but you can always borrow somebody’s phone to call home.

In a way it’s like stealing the phones. It should be illegal like they said what if there’s an emergency what the fuck are the students supposed to do? What are the parents are supposed to do? I’d sue the school if something happened and the school should be shut down then because they are safety concerns with not having their phones on them.
