1. “In a black hole” should be “near the event horizon.” Close enough to it, one minute locally could theoretically correspond to millions of days far away. Inside a black hole things work differently. 3. The star was not sucked in whole. It was torn apart by tidal forces. Some debris was accreted, while some was expelled. 5. This confuses mass with volume. TON 618 has roughly 40 billion solar masses, but its event horizon encloses several quadrillion sun sized volumes, not 20 billion. 6. A tennisball sized black hole would correspond to roughly four Earth masses. It would be catastrophic near earth yes, but it would not destroy the entire planet within milliseconds. The process would take at least minutes. Doesn’t make it any better but more accurate since we are here to learn something.
