Lol, I remember in middle school I used to fake being sick just so I could go to the nurse’s office and sleep until lunchtime because I was tired I am NOT a morning person at all. Back then, they actually had beds in the nurse’s office where kids could lie down until they felt better or until their parents came to pick them up. I couldn’t have them call my mom because she would’ve known I was faking it immediately 😂 Plus, her rule was that if I didn’t have diarrhea, wasn’t throwing up, or didn’t have a fever, I was staying at school. So I’d go to the nurse, tell them I had thrown up in the bathroom and didn’t feel good, and they’d ask if I wanted to call home or lie down until I felt better. Of course, I’d choose the bed and sleep until lunchtime 😂 I couldn’t do it too often, though, because eventually they would’ve caught on lol.
