Sometimes we confuse protecting our peace with running from anything that hurts. Love isn’t supposed to be perfect. People make mistakes, but what matters is what they do after the mistake. If somebody is willing to own it, change, and consistently show you they’re better, I don’t think every mistake should automatically mean the end. Everyone has breaking points. Do not stay where you’re constantly mistreated, but when someone genuinely recognizes their wrong, changes, and shows up differently does that deserve to be considered?

Social media contributes alot to this, a simple like or comment makes ppl feel as if they have options. If you are in a relationship you should not be liking or commenting on other men/ women photos simply because you find them attractive, that's micro cheating and that destroys relationships.

I tried…. I really tried my best to make this work… I tried all of what you’re saying and still got cheated on not physically but he definitely entertained someone else. And he downplayed us and even told the girl he would leave me alone because we wasn’t serious. Mind you… we were in a relationship and living together 🤣 mannnn I could go on and on because it just keep getting worse 😭

I 100% agree. people are looking for any and all red flags. any excuse to bail. not thinking that in order to grow together, you need room to grow. meaning, it can't be perfect from the start, and you need to recognize what you're going to need to change for the relationship to survive.
