This was great! I would recommend waiting until your hair is 100% dry before using the oil to get the crunch out. Doing that while the hair is even slightly damp can disrupt the curl definition and also lead to more frizz

The more you do your natural curls the better they become. I personally use a cream and then scrunch in a gel with my hands and then use the towel to scrunch and then diffuse. Once my hair is completely dry with the diffuser you can either use an oil to scrunch out the crunch or just scrunch while using the diffuser at the end because the heat will help you scrunch it out too. Hope this helps, and don't give up ❤️

Yup everything was right. Only thing I do different is instead of continuous up and down scrunching l, I scrunch up & into the hair, open and close your hands when they’re by your scalp. This helps the curl form without continuous touching.

Plopping isn’t for drying. It’s to give the curls time to form close together. I plop while I finishing getting the rest of myself ready- maybe 20 min then air dry. I’d try it! Both of you!
