There is a tendency to anthropomorphize any significant intelligence, but there is no clear reason that a machine borne intelligence has any stimuli that are like those of humans. Our ambitions are driven by a desire to be at the top of a social hierarchy, but that comes from our nature of finite life times, the desire to propagate, the desire to gather resources, etc none of which a machine has.
