My vet promised they would keep her covered in the in the blanket I crocheted for her until the last moment. Her urn was wrapped in that blanket when I picked her up.

sadly my white German shepherd passed. I lost my shit with the vet as they went to drag her by her tail. I stopped it and took her home

My vet let me hold my shitzu as long as I wanted after she passed away, when I finally let her go, the veterinarian held her and kissed her lil forehead, I knew she would be in great hands 😭🩷

My girl was so peaceful looking that my daughter had to get a pic. The vet was an angel and talked to her the whole time even after she passed.

While this process is hard to watch for those who may have never had to deal with it. It’s a real part of life and allows the dog to be at peace in its mind rather than a risk and never at peace in its own mind. Thank you for being kind as always.

so this dog was put down for behavior issues? who was he biting? did he have the right family? damn, my dog (the pittopotamus) grunts and talks. has to be muzzled at the vet. but would behavior euthanasia?

This is an act. Vet offices don’t care about your beloved pet. I worked at one while I was in school. They bag the body up and throw it in a freezer with other bodies until the cremation company picks them up. Vet industry DOES NOT CARE.

We chose to do at-home euthanasia for our chocolate lab (cancer), and they handled her just like this. Super respectful, dignified, and with love.

I watched a dog get hit by a car. I stopped and stayed with him petting his head as he passed. i was bawling. this other lady stopped and said she'd take him to the vet and she picked him up by the legs, said he couldnt feel anything anymore. I yelled at her and said he was still someone's baby. I was so mad

My dog never ever went with anyone. I was always with her. When she was euthanized they put her on a stretcher and put her in vets car. Almost killed me. My baby girl😭
