Guna Yala is an indigenous comarca (territory) of Panama. Although it is part of Panama, it has its own laws, political system, and cultural traditions. For this reason, the Guna people collect their own fees/taxes within the territory to support and maintain their communities and local infrastructure. These fees are separate from the costs charged by tour agencies, guides, or other external service providers. ☺️Other than that, it’s a beautiful place! 🙌🏽

I went there and it was the best thing I ever experienced!!! I loved everything about it. I hope to return some day. Would love to stay on an island, but we all know that’s not an easy feat to lock down.
