a thief once stole someone's keys, waited in the parking lot and followed them home after someone brought them their spare.. Cased the house for 2 days then broke in using the keys took everything and killed their dog.

Pro Tip: If you leave the key fob in some vehicles, you’ll drain the battery. It should be less common now, but I know for a fact that Honda Odysseys as new as 2018 do that.

mine gives me crap for leaving the keys in it. in the locked garage. not even mentioning that its a 2004 Chevy Monte carlo and that it could probably be hot wired by a 10 year old in about 3 minutes 🤣

Unfortunately this happened to me last year. I didnt think I had enough gas to get to the gas station but the car thieves proved me wrong. Good foe them. They drove it to McDonalds, left the receipt in it and their empty syrup packets.

truthful driving company truck on a parts run parked alongside similar vechicle employee came out and hopped in and took off. we had to go chase him down to get the truck back. he made the comment I thought something was different. getting back to work boss said what took you so long me your truck got stolen 😏 boss sit down i gotta hear this

That’s accurate but my husband used to be notorious for leaving his keys in his truck so his officers pulled a prank on him and moved his truck to the next door neighbor driveway who happened to be the code enforcement for the city 🤭
