“You are a human being with great value and dignity before God, and your body is not something to be displayed for the admiration or comments of others. The Bible says, ‘Glorify God in your bodies’ (1 Corinthians 6:20). Therefore, try to ensure that your photos and posts reflect respect for yourself and your body. We are not saying this to condemn or belittle you, but because your dignity is far greater than being reduced to physical appearance or the opinions of others.”
Important Christian Principles
The body has dignity: “Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:19).
Christianity encourages modesty and dignity: “They should adorn themselves with proper clothing” (1 Timothy 2:9).
The body should not be used to attract lust or seek approval from others.
Christian advice should not be used to insult, slander, or bully. Correction should be given “with gentleness” (Galatians 6:1). A person's true worth lies not in their physical appearance or the number of likes they receive, but in being created in the image of God (Genesis 27:1).
Most importantly: if the photos are already public, don't advise her in a way that shames her. It's better to speak with her privately and respectfully, explaining that modesty is not contempt for the body, but rather an appreciation of its value.
