Replying to @💗💜❤️ The giant banana has officially survived 24 HOURS covered in hairspray and now it’s finally time to crack every single cream squishy 😭🍌 After testing so many different squishy textures, I swear cream squishies might be the BEST ones for hairspray cracking. I did multiple layers of hairspray on each one, waited about 10 minutes between every layer, and then left everything alone for a full day so the outside could completely dry into that crispy shell. We started tiny with the green Globbles, then cracked the strawberry, mini cheese and boba squishy, and somehow every single one kept getting better. 😭 The little squishies make the sharpest cracking noises, but getting them unstuck from the paper without accidentally wasting the best cracks is becoming an actual science experiment at this point. Then we moved onto the jumbo cupcake and THAT SOUND??? The bigger cream squishies create such a different crack because there’s so much more surface area covered in dried hairspray. I’m also starting to wonder if repeatedly doing this is going to destroy my squishies because some of that paint is looking a little suspicious. 😂 And FINALLY, the giant cream banana. 🍌 I used an absolutely ridiculous amount of hairspray covering this thing, so I needed that crack to be worth it. Now I genuinely can’t decide which cream squishy won this experiment. The tiny ones had the crispier cracks, but the jumbo squishies had those long, crunchy cracks that just KEEP GOING. Which one sounded the most satisfying??
