Health is extremely easy on home raised cattle. I hardly ever have a problem feeding out our open heifers. Why do you feed two separate rations and adjust the percent of each instead of just adjusting up the mcals in a single ration?

Do you ever implant replacement heifers? I’ve read that Synovex C given at 6 months before weaning shows negligible gains vs control at 22 months, but does show increased pelvic size.
