I begged my ex to go to therapy while we were married... he refused. After we divorced, his new gf said she wouldn't marry him if he didn't go to therapy, so he went and honestly, in hindsight, I'm so glad he didn't do it while we were together. He just used the language and coping strategies he used to try to manipulate our children. 🤷♀️Narcissists just use whatever they can to further their narrative. I don't think they're capable of actual growth, unfortunately.

I’ve often thought about going to his other exes to collect their stories, but I don’t really know who they are, but he is now with an old friend of ours who should know better, but apparently she got ensnared in his trap. It’s probably a good thing for my children who still have to go with him every other week that he has this woman around

now I speak about my ex husband who was abusive for 26 years , he kept me silent as I was embarrassed, but stayed , it shocks people when I tell them now ! that sad thing is i won't tolerate it from a man now , soon as I see the cycle im out !

That's why it's so important for women&girls to get educated & informed, that way these monsters no longer have a supply of new information/ can't get updates on how to harm the next victim..protecting ourselves will then become a positive feed back loop of protecting each while starving out these abusers

I HATE how existing victims get treated like trash in lieu of weaponised support of hypothetical future victims and sacrificing existing victims in the name of the big picture and statistics. Victims are not responsible for speaking up,warning others,stopping someone who abused them from doing it to someone else. Specially not when we know how much more trauma and pain they'll be put through because of the way the legal system,the world,society and a lot of people treat them. Not to mention take advantage of them because they realize their vulnerability and wounds.
