It always seems that under Democratic leadership, the military doesn't keep pace with needs due to poor strategic planning, weapons inventory, and weapons development. Obama marked the start of inadequate planning and development for the military's needs to keep us safe around the world.

Whether you support the current military action in Iran or not, the current problem with munitions was going to come up eventually. The shortfall in our munitions stockpiles and overall protracted operational capabilities goes back to 2001. At the time we were focused on fighting an asymetric war against terrorists - NOT a conflict with a near-peer adversary. Any problems should have been crystal clear when we cracked open our stockpiles to send aide to Ukraine... but there were many things overlooked during that administration. This is completely NOT Trump's doing- he's just lucky enough to be POTUS when the problem came to a head.
