@themaniacboxingcoach: 🥊 TWO NOVICES PREPARING FOR THEIR AMATEUR DEBUTS 🥊🔥 Here we have two novice boxers getting some valuable rounds in, with both lads preparing to make their amateur debuts. 👊 This stage of a boxer's journey is massive. They're taking everything they've learned on the pads, bags, in drills and conditioning sessions and learning how to put it all together against somebody who punches back. At this level, sparring isn't about trying to knock lumps out of each other. It's about learning, gaining experience and becoming comfortable in the ring. They're working on: 💥 Using the jab and controlling distance 💥 Footwork and positioning 💥 Defence and reactions 💥 Putting combinations together 💥 Knowing when to attack and when to move 💥 Staying relaxed when under pressure 💥 Managing their energy throughout the rounds 💥 Listening to instructions from the corner 💥 Building confidence and ring IQ They'll make mistakes, they're supposed to. That's what the gym is for. Every round gives them another little bit of experience that you simply can't get from hitting a bag. Both are still raw, both are still learning, but they're putting the work in and getting themselves ready for that moment when they finally step through the ropes for the first time. No egos. No gym wars. Just two young boxers learning the sweet science and preparing for their amateur debuts. 🥊🔥 The nerves will come... but so will the excitement.
