I’m confused. I could have misunderstood but I thought you said you were looking for budget-friendly implants when you found the 10k ones, then at the appt you said you wanted something that could be worked on in the US. That’s when they informed you that the originally quoted Chinese budget-friendly implants weren’t really universal and then they gave you the quote for the Swiss implants. That seems to me that Swiss implants aren’t budget friendly but instead top of the line, universal implants. I think it may be defamatory to state that you were lied to and scammed. When, just based on the information given, you were given budget friendly cost but wanted top of the line for the same price. In American terms it seems like you wanted Walmart prices for Gucci products and got mad when it didn’t work out that way. If I’m wrong please let me know.

Tiger himself has stated that this situation was due to misinformation and is also disappointed! Stop blaming Amanda for being a “spoiled American” it’s a cultural clash and now she sadly cannot get the surgery.

Who scammed who?? I think Amanda scammed this tour guide named Tiger. Just imagine all the hours he spent talking with her. 1-3 hours a day. Every single day she said. For a year. And it’s probably a 12 hour time difference, so how much sleep and time with his family did he lose listening to her and also the cost of these phone calls! That’s the real scam. I watched the videos at the dental clinic and I think she was in the wrong there as well.

I don’t understand how she doesn’t understand that things are different in China? I feel like she was inconsiderate and didn’t try to understand the differences in communication… The price difference could have been researched ahead of time too- I just looked it up in 3 minutes 😕 But, Tiger, you are amazing and did a great job!
