As a Caribbean, we dewormed at least 2x a year. Usually before school and during Christmas break. My sis just brought me a purge from back home.

Parasitic worms in humans are not at all common in developed countries. We have government agencies that regulate food and we have proper sewage and water treatment systems.

deworming is more normalised in the us than the rest of the world. certainly in Europe we don't have a lot of parasites in our food

Not everyone needs to be deworming themselves, there’s side effects and you may not be doing it right. You need an evaluation and to be diagnosed if you truly think you have a parasitic infection. There’s a reason other countries deworm regularly! Don’t listen to every video on the internet.
