@cbsla: A dispute is growing over the cleanup deadline for the burned-out Lineage Logistics warehouse in Boyle Heights as nearby residents continue to deal with a strong odor and flies. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass says the deadline to complete the cleanup has passed, while Lineage maintains it has another week. Crews have been working to remove an estimated 85 million pounds of rotting and waterlogged food from the site. New photos from inside the warehouse show decayed waste, sludge and food residue left behind after the fire. Residents say the ongoing conditions have made it difficult to spend time outside in their neighborhood.
I pass by it on the freeway on my motorcycle and it STINKS BROOOO FOR LIKE 10 MINS!!!

It’ll be done next week and that will meet the date listed in the mayor’s public document. Zero affiliation but it pains me when no one reads the releases and documents not even CBS apparently.
