Healthy Snickers ⸻ Ingredients Base: • 80g oat flour (about 3/4 cup) • 80g almond flour (about 3/4 cup) • 1 egg • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey • 1 tsp peanut butter Caramel Layer: • 100g dates( 1/2 cup ) • 2 tbsp peanut butter • 4 tbsp water • Pinch of salt Crunch: • Handful of almonds Chocolate Topping: • 3 tbsp Dutch-processed cocoa powder (or regular) • 2 tbsp coconut oil • 2 tbsp maple syrup ⸻ Instructions 1. Mix oat flour, almond flour, egg, maple syrup (or honey), and peanut butter until a soft dough forms. If it feels dry, add a little water. 2. Line a pan with baking paper, add the mixture, press it well, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes. Let it cool. 3. Blend dates, peanut butter, water, and salt until smooth and creamy. Spread evenly over the base. 4. Add a handful of almonds on top, gently pressing them into the caramel layer. 5. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes. 6. Mix cocoa powder, coconut oil, and maple syrup until smooth. Pour over the top and spread evenly. 7. Chill until set, then slice.
