What a crappy world we live in. People don't live in the moment anymore, which is why I’ve set screen time limits for myself. Smartphones should be used with common sense and balance. We absolutely need to set boundaries for children and teenagers too. One of the worst things you can do is look at your phone while eating. You lose both your appetite and your sense of fullness because your brain gets distracted and fails to register that you're actually eating. Not only that, but it is also haram and deeply disrespectful to the person who served you the food. Enjoy the moment and put your phone away! ❗️
