this past year, i’ve experienced many moments both physically and mentally that tested my limits. I lost sight of who I was and allowed ppl and my thoughts to hurt me. Still, I worked my butt off at PT and the gym so that I could return to dance, but once I was cleared, I immediately doubted myself. It felt difficult to feel the same love for dance that I had before my injury. For this dream-stage, I had SO MANY moments of self-doubt and even cried while filming my audition. But I knew I wanted this and that dancing with TXT was the dream i’ve always had as a dancer and moa, so I chased after it. “I’ll See You There Tomorrow” is a song that always cheers me up and gives me hope. “there’ll be no more sorrow, i’ll see you there tomorrow,” reminds me to keep going bc tomorrow will always come🙏🏻 I’ve unfortunately seen the few comments expressing dissatisfaction with my opportunity at dream-stage, and I did let it get to me. But what a disservice I would be doing to myself by letting these comments ruin THE DREAM COME TRUE FOR ME; and to forget all the amazing people who congratulated me and shared their kind words on my performance. I am proud of myself for how hard I worked to get here and I’m proud that i believed in myself❤️‍🩹 I’m still learning to block out the unnecessary noise and focus on the community i’ve surrounded myself with and how the kindness, love, and support that encompasses me must be a reflection of who I am as well. To everyone who is part of that and slowly teaching me how to accept that for myself, thank you from the bottom of my heart❤️ #aclrecovery #dance
