@nxmarian: went to OLHSO Korean BBQ House in San Mateo, CA to celebrate our anniversary! It probably isnt traditional KBBQ, maybe more like fusion, but still the food was super good! We did the Table Grill (they also have other seating types like Live Fire) and it is reservation only. Table Grill is where the server will grill the meat at your table and also walk you through the best pairing for that meat cut. Since the server is grilling it for you, all you will be responsible for is eating 😁 love being able to focus all my attention on the food hehe. I liked all the beef cuts in the Classic except for the oxtail, it still tasted good but difficult to eat so it kinda disrupted the rhythm 😢 we also got the seafood pancake and it was so so so good i recommend getting it! The Classic course came with one soup and we chose the beef soondubu (soft tofu soup) it was good but felt spicier than just mild! Our server also gave us a free seaweed soup for celebrating our anniversary and even put “congratulations!” all over the screen 😆 very sweet of him and the seaweed soup was a nice palate cleanser with all the meats.
