@reinahanno: Highly recommended by both locals and tourists. Known for its Spear of Benkei challenge (90kg). So far its grand, beautiful with its traditional architecture. What I do enjoyed more is the view of the mountain and forests. The temple deck provided a nice observation point. First half of the temple is free, second part entry fee is 500yen. It goes towards the maintenance and upkeep of the place and in return it generate tourism revenue.
