@allrecipes: Savor the last of summer with this easy corn recipe! 🌽 Tap the link in our bio or keep reading for full recipe details! ⤴️ Ingredients: 4 cups water 4 cups vinegar 1/4 cup kosher salt 8 medium ears of corn Directions: Combine water, vinegar, and salt in a large pot for the brine. Heat on the stovetop over medium heat until the salt is dissolved, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside to cool. Meanwhile, cut each ear of corn into 2 to 3 pieces. Fill a large bowl with ice and cold water. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add corn pieces and cook uncovered, about 7 minutes. Drain in a colander and immediately immerse in ice water to stop the cooking process, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain. Combine cooled brine and blanched corn cobs in a large jar or several medium-sized jars and add any optional ingredients to season the brine. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours and enjoy! 🎥: Kelsey Riley @plantedinthekitchen #corn #pickling #EasyRecipes #Summer
That’s actually not how you pickled corn. You pickle it in a crock and the only ingredient is pickling salt. It ferments for weeks and then you have real pickled corn.

I guarantee the corn wasn’t able to pick up much of the brine. The brine has to cover the vegetables while hot. Either that or you let it ferment with just water and salt for a week. Love the video idea, keep it up!

Dont waste the time and effort. Simple cook your corn. Then sprinkle vinegar on it and eat it. This “Quick Refrigerator” method does nothing 😂

See!!!! NO sugar!!!! Someone in another pickling video said it was a must and you can't taste it.... I can and do not want even a hint of sweet brine.
