when i was in band my band director would literally “shout out” my section for being the smellest. i hate low brass, i swear i was the only one who showered and wore deodorant. I would literally buy extra spray on deodorant for my section to use (displayed it during sectionals and let everyone know they could use it) and basically no one would use it. My section would be in tears due to two specific people but we weren’t allowed to call anyone out so we had to suffer. if you’re a band kid, PLEASE shower and use deodorant ATLEAST during band camp so you don’t suffocate your fellow band mates 😭

Or post rehearsal after we got rained on… smelling like wet dog and feet (im armed with at least 2 sticks of deo at a time and some perfume so at least im not smelly)
