Not accurate. People still smelled nice because they used flowers, flower extracts, scented oils, etc etc. Only the poorer ones remained unhygienic (like the unfortunate homeless we have now). People should stop thinking Our ancestors were fcking apes jumping from tree to tree. They were far more advanced than what we give them credit for.
