But according to the people who were in the courtroom and heard the 911 call, that theory was proven false by the recording itself. Lindsay is clearly heard saying “basement.” So the argument that “Lindsay couldn’t have told Patrick where the kids were because she couldn’t speak” doesn’t hold up. We can’t hear the 911 call ourselves because the judge isn’t allowing it to be released to the public. But multiple people who heard it in court have described this specific moment — and two of the commentators in my reel specifically mention Lindsay saying “basement.” That doesn’t answer every question about Patrick or this case. But if we’re going to build a theory around what Lindsay could or couldn’t have told him that night, this particular claim needs to be corrected. She said it. It’s on the 911 call. And that’s a pretty important detail.
