Does birth control help in any ways with pain? I don’t have endo but taking birth control has taken 95% of my cramps

So I’m guessing I didn’t have endo, because it stopped after having kids, but I had excruciating period pains and no one ever diagnosed me. To the point I couldn’t even move, I’d throw up, I’d have to curl up in a ball in the bath and stay there for hours. One time I went to a restaurant and they couldn’t close up because I had to stay curled up in a chair for 2 hours and literally could not move. Sometimes I’d get light headed from the pain and would have to lay down quickly to avoid actually passing out. No idea why I had this but it stopped (thankfully) after having kids. I had it for 14 years though. It was a shock when my periods came back and I had zero pain. I’ve never found an explanation for this.

Has your doctor ever recommended you to skip your periods with bc pills? I did this for so long for my menorrhagia and I read so much about it being recommended for some Endo cases but I know everyone can be so diff!! ❤️🩹

I have 2 pain-proof options: pregnancy and ✨being unconscious✨. Whatever I have to do or take to make me unconscious, that’s what I do. I have a Mirena IUD, and while I don’t bleed, I still have incredible pain spot on when my period should be. I also have always had pain throughout the month and found out I have adeno, as well as endo on my bowels, bladder, rectum, and abdominal wall 🥴

why did you decide to not go on BC or other hormone therapies? I tried but the pain was so unbearable that I had to get back on it

I have endometriosis and adenomyosis and just had endo excision surgery last month which has helped slightly. I’m testing for PCOS now as the doctors suspect it. But acupuncture is the only thing that helps my symptoms

I 100% get the weed thing from another suffering girlie BUT we went through infertility for 6 years. The difference it made for myself and my husband to quit, was insane and we finally got pregnant!
