This is beyond informative, thank you seriously. IMO, truly the Nigerian government does not prioritise long term development plans, they only see long term ruling plan. I sometimes see us as someone who has been married for 8 years without a child, it'd be hard for either party to move towards other options. When we completely abandoned the Agricultural sector, the sting from then still hits hard even in present time. Do I believe a different weather will come up soon? Yes, in 10 years, maybe 15. The citizens are scared of a long term change but we eagerly look forward to a renewed political plan. The average Nigerian cannot do improv in any hard situation and we confuse adaptability with availability and productivity. We are not assertive enough about the most important things and as with everything, they are lined up in different shades of discomfort and trust me, Nigerians do not value the real discomfort.
