i kinda noticed this too when i was coming to islam,i found it very assuring and impressive how i found a people who didn’t engage in bid’ah and put emphasis on the idea that correct islam is only adherence to the qur’an and the sunnah upon the understanding of the salaf. but GRADUALLY i started to see things from them, like takfiring a lot of figures, xyz is an agent and political discussions that are above a layperson’s pay grade. it was only beneficial before that.
