As an ex navy veteran NONE OF THIS IS MAKING SENSE! Even during 911 we were able to get packages , they were delayed but they DID receive them! They are sitting ducks that have been forgotten to prove a point. Why the fuck aren’t people seeing this. I AM IRATE and DISGUSTED in TRUMP and This administration.

Getting care packages is like currency. They trade snacks and cigarettes/dip like crazy and depending on your schedule sometimes that’s all that’s available is what’s in your locker. It’s some of the only bright spots in their deployment.

This business not getting packages needs to be explained. Because of the war? I’ve lived through 70 years of American wars and I’ve never heard of this. Care packages to American POWs in Germany got delivered during WWII.

Thank you for reporting this! Thank you for believing our sailors!!!! My daughter is on an air craft carrier over there too. The mail situation is AWFUL! I have sent hundreds and hundreds of dollars of high protein foods and snacks, and hygiene packages. I am so absolutely furious!!!
