THIS THOUGH 👏 I fell in love with makeup well into my 20s when I got to experience it ✨on my own terms.✨ Trying to force children to enjoy something just because thier parents like it usually just ends up with the kid 🔥hating 🔥 that thing instead 😅

My mum left me to my own devices when it came to how I did my makeup. She didn’t try to force me to do it her way or tone it down or anything which today, I’m so glad. Im 32 now and we have kind of swapped 😂 she wears bb cream (she never used to wear anything at all while I was full face) and I use skin care but no makeup 😂

Acne's normal. I'm in my 30s and still get zits. Power to this daughter for standing up for what she wants. Parents need to stop trying to live vicariously through their kids. They are their own people.

Happy ending. 🥰 I found these types of experiences made cosmetic retail difficult. That, and when parents/guardians would shame/reprimand their sons for being interested in makeup. ☹️
