i was so sleep deprived and starving that i didn’t get to enjoy it. i felt drugged and dazed and nothing felt really. he didn’t feel real. he’s 9’days old now and things are better but i regret so much about my time in the hospital after he was born.

Don’t know if I want another baby and to raise a whole extra human, or to just relive this moment again and again. How on earth could it possibly be coming up on 6 years since my heart started beating outside of my chest. Nothing will ever compare to that feeling 🥹

I couldn’t enjoy it with my first, I was so dissociated unfortunately. With my second, it was such a high, so euphoric.. it was just me and him the first few minutes he entered the world. But I’d relive both in a heartbeat if I could.

When it’s quiet and the dad is out on the couch and it’s FINALLY just you and the baby. All you do is talk about things and examine every lil inch of them. BEST EVER. 🥰

I always feared giving birth for as long as I can remember, I was scared out of my mind the second I was admitted for delivery I’m 14 months post partum and I still get random new memories because I couldn’t remember anything at first
