I hope the city doesn’t try to shut her down! I saw a video of police forcing a young boy cooking and giving hot meals to elderly and disabled and unhoused people and they were crushed cuz they rely on him for most if not all their meals everyday. I hope that doesn’t happen here 🙏🏼🩷🩷🩷🩷

Food deserts are brutal. Places like Wal-Mart come in, undercut everyone, and then once the smaller or independent stores goes out of business, Wal-Mart jack's the prices. Then they complain there's too much shrinkage and close up, and entire communities are left with no viable options for getting fresh produce.

Milwaukee has really suffered the past few years when it comes to grocery stores closing. It is a city that is still DEEPLY segregated and the lines seem to have only gotten more stark since COVID.

Food Deserts are very real. It'd usually in the lower income areas and those places are usually POC. So many spots in Jacksonville FL are like this. No public transport in those areas either.. bless her!❤️
