Thank you so much for sharing this. You’re extremely brave. I’m currently doing my capstone seminar for my Health Information Management degree and my paper is about Stigmatizing, biased, negative language in medical records SPECIFICALLY in black and Hispanic women. As a woman also with BP1, this is the first video I’ve watched of yours and it’s gut wrenching on so many levels. 🥺❤️

I am so sorry this happened to you! I years ago reviewed my medical records where I was hospitalized for a drug induced psychosis and their language was more traumatic than the experience. I am not going into this field to help break this horrible cycle and help people like us, be treated with dignity and respect too. I love this healing journey
