My little brother was non verbal and everyone told us to be patient but as soon as he turned 3 my mom enrolled him in 3k bc they also had speech therapy. I work at a daycare and you’d be surprised. There are 2 year olds who can walk, talk, and understand basic reading comprehension. And there’s 3-4 year olds who still need help with colouring.

there are some people who hold the misconception that early childhood doesnt matter because kids don't remember, but years 0-4 is a period of rapid learning and development you're literally affecting their entire life with what you do during this time period
