Won't be until fall but go to Ace hardware and get a dryer heat diverter and an extra dryer hose. It sends the heat from your dryer into the house so its not wasted outside. Put those on your dryer when the weather cools down. One load in the dryer can raise my house temp 4-5 degrees for hours. Saves on the gas bill.

Dollar Tree. I buy so many things from Dollar Tree. Nail polish, remover, cleaning products, decorations, wrapping paper and gift bags. I was at Walmart and a bottle of nail polish was like $6, but they are $1.25 at Dollar Tree. I also buy a bunch of their wrapping paper just after Christmas for half off, it’s not like it will go bad. My son graduated last year, but still uses a ton of paper, pencils, etc. about a week after school starts, Walmart will clearance out the extra school supplies. Like $.10 for a notebook. We’ve always taken advantage of that

Get 3 or 4 recipes that use mainly canned goods. Buy these canned goods at Costco or on sale. Always keep them in your pantry.

I buy all of my meat when it is marked down. Usually on a Wednesday or Thursday. I adjusted my grocery shopping day to achieve this.

Even tho I’m retired and don’t need as many clothes, I still love fashion. I sell my handbags, jewelry, and some shoes on Posh, Depop, eBay, Mercari. I use my proceeds to reinvest in a new bag etc…. And a lot of times, I buy it from one of these sites… people have new items with tags..

Grinding our own hamburger when brisket goes on sale, works out to less than four dollars a pound. I can control the amount of fat in it. Also started grinding my own pork when pork loins go on sale. I add it to a lot of recipes because I don’t like ground turkey.
