All of my friends have faded away since I got sick. I go to doctor appointments and the pharmacy, but otherwise I just stay home by myself. There's really no where to go, plus I have no extra money to go if there was.

I have online friends. all my in person friends just slowly ghosted me over the years as my health got worse and I couldnt do things more and more. its sad but tells me who trueky cares.

Because I don't always have the energy " people" my capacity is limited and my comfort now comes first. Most don't understand limited capacity and take it personally.

Too many plans canceled or call outs due to your chronic illness and truly if you don’t have it you want understand nor wish that onto them or anyone else. Also no one tells you what other side affects your going to have or how this condition sets off other issues and identifies others

I don't think people without autoimmune issues understand the severe fatigue and muscle pain that so many of us go through. I have like 3 close friends that I've known for 20+ years. They are ride or die and understand that I would not lie about my symptoms.
