see the trouble is most people look at this ethically which is Dracula is obviously no longer human as he let go of that aged ago to be a vampire but legally which is the important term Dracula in all terms and purposes is still a person in the eyes of the law and still keeps his rights as long as he has kept any proof of his identity

This show was SO good until we got this part in modern times. Straight down hill from there. I would recommend watching it, and then just stopping when you get to him being locked up here

this part always bothered me. like you can just as easily argue that a vampire doesn't actually have any rights as they're not a human being. you don't argue in court that a cow has the same rights as people do.
